Party’s almost over.

Well, the final round of the current Super League season is this weekend, and tonight sees the Wigan Warriors (pictured above) take on their arch-rivals, St. Helens, in a clash of the titans match at the DW Stadium. They’ve already secured the league leaders shield, having beaten Hull KR in style last weekend, now they just need to round it off with a win.

My team, Leeds Rhinos, don’t play until Sunday when we take on Huddersfield Giants at the newly-renamed John Smith’s Stadium. We’re currently fifth, where we won the Grand Final from last season, but there’s still the play-offs to go and, the way we’ve been playing all season, I’m not confident we’ll even make it to the Grand Final this year. We’ve been a bit useless if I’m honest, especially when we played Warrington Wolves at Wembley the other week, so I’m not expecting us to get there at all.

Anyway, good luck to the Warriors tonight, and I’ll see you in the play-offs. Not that I’ll be able to watch any of them due to being on holiday, like, but still…
